Werrd yoyo players Brandon Vu and Vu Ho dropped a 10-minute video on the finer points of tuning modern yoyos. This is a great video for new players who are looking for more information on how to get the best out of a yoyo that isn’t performing as it should.
Werrd Presents: Vu^2 Ft. Brandon Vu & Vu Ho
Werrd has got the market cornered on quality yoyo players named Vu, so it only makes sense to pit them against each other in a fight to the death!
Unfortunately, they chose to have them do a video together instead. Which is cool, I guess, but c’mon…death match. DEATH MATCH.
Featuring Vu ho the 2010 Australian national Yoyo champion and Brandon Vu the current 2014 Australian national Yoyo champion
Vu + Vu.. Coincidence?
I think not!Fresh off the production line after the conclusion of the Australian championships these two young talented guys placing 1st and 2nd consecutively have proven themselves to be the top two players in Australia. If that doesn’t give you enough push to watch, both were carefully selected by Werrd to join their global international brand which is an obvious recipe for success!
Now they have joined forces for the greater good to bring you Vu^2 to show the rest of the world how they throw ‘down under’
Throwing the latest Werrd Irony JP.Without further ado,
I present Vu Ho and Brandon Vu in the coolest of cool, super awesome, almost impossible: Vu^2.
Hope y’all enjoy it!
Vu Ho – Five Dollar Sweater
Werrd Allience member Vu Ho gears up for Australian Sydney Regional YoYo Contest with this sneak-peek video. We’re loving this new trend of players building up excitement for their contest routines…and we hope this starts becoming standard practice for all the top names in the competition scene.
Werrd Fruiture ft. Vu Ho
Werrd Alliance member Vu Ho shot some great footage at Worlds to promote the upcoming retail release of the Fruiture, the newest full-sized competition yoyo by Werrd. There was a midnight release of limited quantities of the Fruiture at Worlds, and the full retail release is expected to happen in the next month or two.
Vu Ho x Eric Tran-Ton: 2013
In June of 2013, Werrd had asked Vu and I to join them on a journey to Japan for JN2013. While there we met a lot of cool players, and went on a mini adventure. for the past month and a half we thought the footage was lost, but now we found it. This is a video documenting our adventure in Japan as well as showcasing one of the best Werrd yoyos to ever be produced. Enjoy!
Werrd. Alliance. 2013.

YoYoDrop – Werrd 2K13 Hour
Werrd dropped pics of the updated Hour yoyo on their way to Japan Nationals, but I was able to catch Stu Brown in transit for some more details!
Werrd 2K13 Hour Specs:
- 60mm diameter
- 41.5mm wide
- 4.7mm gap
- 65.5 grams
- K-pad response
- Center Trac Bearing
- BluePrint String
-
Splash Anodised (multiple colors)
-
Gold Anodized (for the pimp look)
-
Silver Anodized (for stage bling)
According to Stu:
I revised the weight distribution to see if we could speed up the Hour on the string a little. This is tricky for such a large diameter yoyo but I was able to do this by adding percentage weight to the rim and increasing spin time while actually making the 2K13 Hour lighter and more maneuverable. Success. The Werrd Bounty is still up for grabs and the Hour and 2K13 Hour are the current weapons of choice. Before Worlds we will add another yoyo (or maybe 2) to the eligible Bounty yoyo arsenal.Limited pieces of the 2K13 Hour will be pre-released at Japan Nationals this weekend. For Japan Nationals Werrd is attending in force; flying in, fresh off his BAC 3A Win is Eric Tran-ton. Australian National Champion Vu Ho and Yu Tsumura will also be in attendance as well as the heart beat of Werrd – Stu Brown and Andrew Savage.
Sounds like huge things are in store for Werrd…we’ll update with more info as we’re able to get it. In the meantime, check out the team and new throws at Japan Nationals this weekend! Stu hinted to me that there might be some more new releases at Japan Nationals if they make it in time…we’ll find out soon!
