Along with attending the World YoYo Contest, I will be going to various European countries serving at human trafficking shelters, orphanages and homeless shelters on a mission trip. Sexual slavery is a huge problem (even here in the US) and I look forward to aiding those who are recovering from their psychological and physical scars. Many of these victims, women as well as men, are sold into sexual slavery by their own parents.

I will be yo-yoing for the orphans at the Children’s Diagnostic Center and giving them yo-yos that were generously donated.

I am eager to be doing this but I have some expenses–which is why I am selling these yo-yos! My plane ticket alone was just over $1,700. If you want to support my mission trip and get an awesome yo-yo, I would highly appreciate any purchases!

Timeline: (Aug 2-22)

Week 1:
-shopping for supplies
-meeting those we will be working with (CityLight Church will help aid us)
-rehabilitate the homeless through “Proti Prudu” www.notabene.sk.
-world yo-yo contest (Aug 7-9)

Week 2:
-serve at the Majak abuse shelter (sex trafficking shelter. approx 40-50 kids)
-serve in Jelka, Slovakia (poor Roma village) http://citylightbratislava.com/ (20-30 kids are supported by CityLight church)
-visit Children’s Diagnostic Center (orphanage) http://www.dcpredeti.sk/ (60-70 children are here)

Rest of the trip:
-shopping for supplies
-packing 80-100 backpacks with the purchased school supplies for needy children
-meet with those at the church who will help with the deliveries
-serve anywhere that needs extra help (hopefully another sex abuse shelter)
