As previously reported, CLYW did a small run of kendamas to give to their team and friends, with just a few from the production run being available at retail. Well, those have finally landed at YoYoExpert and they’re going quick!
We got our hands on a black one and these are fine kendamas, pretty much in line with what you would expect from the Kendama USA Classic model. Nothing fancy here, just a one-time run that is a neat way for you to keep up with the kendama madness while showing some love for CLYW! Available for $29.99 each, these are pretty limited and we expect they’ll be gone soon.
If you aren’t sure whether to get one, let this video of Pekka guide your decision.

I’ve been slacking on giving you folks the weekly roundup from 365yoyotricks.com. And by “slacking” I mean I did one, and then totally forgot about it when I got busy with other projects. Ha ha whoops!
Here’s the last week worth of tricks from me and the gang…and be sure to follow @365yoyotricks on Twitter and on Facebook for the daily updates!
Jake Bullock reminds us that he’s been doing 3D tricks for a ridiculously long time with FLOUNDER3D.
Spencer Berry gives us the gift that keeps on giving…by jamming a repeater in the middle of White Buddha.
You know how sometimes you just want a trick to move really, really fast and have a very low success rate? Yep, I made another one of those.
Darnell Hairston wants to make sure that everyone remembers how awesome frontstyle tricks can be.
Play responsive. There are still more tricks hiding in there.
Pekka pekka pekka pekka, pekka pekka pekka. Pekka, pekka pekka pekka pekka pekka!
Rafael Matsunaga dusts off an old combo from 2003, and adds even more to it. Come back in 2023 for a 6-minute version of this trick.

New video from the arctic wilderness of Norway! WE LOVE YOU, PEKKA!
Mr. Louis Vuitton, Ernest Kahn, from the Philippines, is the newest member of team CLYW! In case you missed it, last month Ernest performed for Louis Vuitton Yves Carcelle himself at the Philippines LV store, in Makati:
Ernest is also two-time Philippines national 1A champion, and also recently visited now teammate Pekka in Norway. Super neat to see one of the oldest team members kicking it with the newest!
Good luck to both Ernest and CLYW!

Looks like Prague will see the biggest reunion of the Caribou team yet. Confirmed presences so far for the Canadian manufacturer are all European team members: from Iceland, Palli Gudmundsson; from the UK, Krisztian Kaluzsa; from the Czech Republic itself, Petr Kavka and Zdenek Hybl. Norwegian skateboarding ninja Pekka Lovas is back on the team and will be attending EYYC as well. From the other side of the Atlantic, the rioting duo Abe Ziaimehr and John-Bot will be attending, and CLYW boss Chris Mikulin will also be there for the family meeting.
Krisztian placed 5th and Petr placed 7th in this year’s contest, and will no doubt be fighting for the title in 2012. Petr has been competing in several contests in the continent, including Hungarian Nationals, Spanish Nationals, Austria-Slovakia Nationals, and a 3rd place finish at the Czech Nationals back in October and should be well prepared for EYYC. Both are also competing in the international division of the Russian Yo-yo Contest this weekend in Moscow.
