“One minute, one throw” videos were the first indication that yoyo technology was moving quickly into “they can do whatever you can think of” territory, but it’s still rare to see one throw videos for anything other than 1A. Watching Mizuki Takimoto play 3A is a treat…watching him put together such a clean and fantastic 1-minute routine on a single throw is just mind blowing.

We haven’t had much 3A on the site lately, so it’s a treat that Mizuki Takimoto is the one to break our dry spell. Mizuki took 2nd place in 3A at both Japan Nationals and the Asia Pacific YoYo Championship, and he’s a front-runner for the 3A division at Worlds this year. Good luck, Mizuki!

YoYoRecreation just released NINE videos to promote the upcoming release of the complete redesign of their plastic yoyo, the Diffusion. That’s got to be a record, right? Even better, the videos feature a who’s who of top-notch Japanese talent.
The new Diffusion is set for its first release this weekend at the 2014 Japan National YoYo Contest, retailing for about $35.
