The BU2R by Turning Point is the ultimate event yoyo, created for the 2014 World YoYo Contest in Prague. Precisely machined in Japan, developed by the 3x World Champion Kentaro Kimura, lined with crystals from one of the most prestigious Czech glass manufactures (PRECIOSA) and approved by World YoYo Contest platinum sponsor –BU2R. Limited to only 100 pieces and accompanied by a book which captures the Czech yoyo community on it’s way to making hosting the 2014 World YoYo Contest, and the first one to be held outside of the United States since 1932.

Duncan Toys Strix – Chinpan Edition

Duncan dropped what is an early contender for Product Video of the Year for an artist edition of Kota Watanabe’s signature yoyo, the Strix.

The Chinpan Edition Strix is all-black, with engraving of an original owl illustration by Japanese artist Chinpan. The promo video for this is balls-out amazing, featuring Kota-san dressed in all-white with black feathered gloves and some solid animation and editing.

Limited to only 50 pieces, this yoyo will retail for 9800 Yen (about $96 USD), and will be available Friday, March 28th at 7:00 PM local time (that’s 6:00 AM EST), only at YoYoSpaceAs.com.

Full details below…these are going to sell out FAST, so get ready! The painted version from John Higby will sell for $40 each, and the unpainted versions from Hildy Bros. will be $30 each.

We are super excited to announce the Higby Hildy Currier! This is our collaboration with the International performer, world champion, multiple world record holder, and amazing artist John Higby! This edition is limited to 40 pieces. 20 are natural engraved maple and will be available from Hildybros.com. The other 20 are hand painted by Mr. Higby himself, and will be released on his site bigyoyoart.bigcartel.com.

Expect this special edition to retail for about $120, and start shipping to retailers soon. Early reports had these limited to only 100 pieces, but with Janos’ taking the World Championship we hope they’ll make some more!
