The 11th Malaysia Yo-Yo Championship was held in Kuala Lumpur last weekend. Over 70 competitors from all over Malaysia participated in this contest.
International players such as Dewanta Fachureta (Indonesia Champion), Pornpinit Saprasert (Thailand Champion), Thawhir Iqbal (Singapore Champion) and World Champion Marcus Koh were the official judges for the contest.Last year’s 1A champion Zafran Aqil defended his title making him 2x Malaysia Champion while 2A title was taken by veteran player Azrul Hafriz. 3A Champion Adi Hisham was a new comer from East Malaysia beating long time 3A pioneer Hassan Marialis.
Ewin Ee defended his 4A title making him 7x Malaysia Champion, and last but not least Dimi took home his first ever 5A champion title beating Alif Izwan.
Zafran Aqil also took home the cash prize of RM1000 after emerging as the Champion of the Champions with the highest score.
