Kyle Nguyen, a.k.a. Tommy Gun, is one of the shining stars of the early 2000s yoyo scene. A co-founder of the now defunct online store Extreme Spin, Kyle was a skilled and idiosyncratic player and one of the early “video stars” of yoyoing. This video, which took him almost ten years to finally complete and release, shows just how ahead of his time he really was.

This is the video I started in 2004 that was teased at the end of my “Circle Grind” video as “coming soon.” Well, in 2013 I finally finished it! It has some new footage, but I purposely did old tricks to match the tone and era of the video.

All the stuff where you can see my face, and when I was wearing the THROW and ExtremeSpin shirts, is footage from 2004. The stuff in the Dark Knight shirt is the new footage.
