YoYoFactory Europe dropped a new video showcasing the European Team (everyone but Mateusz Ganc and Michal Zakrzewski made it in the video), and it’s a crazy amount of talent!
Featuring Borys Radziszewski, Matous Tomes, Yuji Kelly, Francesco Gioia, Malte Voss, Veronika Dleskova, Konstantin Tudjarov, Aristidis Voultsios, Tony Sec, Daniel Budai, Vashek Kroutil, Alexander Schmidt, Gabor Boldog, Filip Pietraszewski, Francesco Salvi, and Dave Geigle.
Backspin put together a great video of the European YoYoJam team members, filmed during the 2014 European YoYo Championship. As we’ve come to expect from Backspin, the video is epic and magnificient; as we’ve come to expect from Team YoYoJam members, the tricks are fantastic.
Francesco Gioia drops some crazy bangers in this new video. Seriously, look at that crazy knee bend combo starting at 0:33…what the hell was what all about!? So good!

The 2014 European Yo-yo Championships will be held once again in the PeCsa Music Hall, in Budapest, Hungary. The event will take place from February 21st to 23rd, 2014.
EYYC has quickly set a very high standard in terms of presentation and professionalism, and next year’s contest promises to be no different. With Prague hosting the 2014 World Yo-yo Contest, and the current World Champion being a local player, all attentions will be focused on Europe for the next months.

Amazing new talent Michal Zakrzewski is the newest player to join the YoYoFactory Contest Team. You might remember Michal from the Severe promo video he shot for YoYoFactory.pl, the Polish distributor for the brand. He also took 1st Place in the Winter Freestyle Competition and 6th Place at EYYC 2013. Michal is definitely a strong contest player and another great addition the YoYoFactory’s European team. Congratulations to Michal and YoYoFactory!
YoYoFactory has announced that 2-time and current German National YoYo Champion Kojo Boison will be stepping up to run YoYoFactory Europe!
This continues YoYoFactory’s tradition of hiring entirely yoyo players for all major business positions in their company, something that makes them unique in the yoyo industry. As a company that has always claimed to be by and for the players, they’re putting their payroll money where their mouth is.

The 2012 European Yo-yo Championships is over! Polish veteran Grzegor “Plamek” Wojcik, One Drop Design’s newest addition is the new European Champion!
In 2A, another experienced player, German Dave Geigle of Team YoyoFactory, won his third European title.
3A was won by Czech Michal Jasko, and Italy’s Lorenzo Sabatini took 4A.
Daniel Budai, from Hungary, won the 5A division, and it looks like the former Duncan Crew member is on its way to team YoyoFactory, according to the company’s Facebook post.
Team C3 got fantastic results, winning the 1A Open International Division with Peter Pong Si Yee, and the first ever Women’s division in a major tournament with Corli du Toit!

With over 100 players performing at the preliminary round, the 1A division at the European Yo-yo Championship was no walk in the park even for the top players.
2010 European Champion Vashek Kroutil, from the Czech Republic and team YoyoFactory qualified ahead of the pack, followed by Polish wonder Plamek, representing One Drop, and Duncan Crew’s most recent addition, slack-man Janos Karancz, from Hungary.

Prague looks quite ready for EYYC!
Players from around the globe are already in the Czech Republic and most European players should arrive today. For those not attending, here are some options to follow the action:

Things are heating up for the 2012 European Yo-yo Championship!
Several non-European guests are now confirmed, including reigning World champion Hank Freeman, current and former US National champions Sebastian Brock, Miguel Correa, Jason Lee, Paul Han, Patrick Mitchell, and Paul Yath, last year’s Open 1A division winner Kohta Watanabe, and former World champion Hironori Mii.
On the European front, we can expect a tough battle as more and more of the top contenders in the continent confirm their presences, including last year’s winner Tomas Bubak, and 2010 champion Vashek Kroutil,.

The European Yo-yo Championship is closing in and the competition level promises to be higher than ever.
Last week at the Hungarian Nationals, the Open division was dominated by the Czech team Slusny: 1st place went to Robert Kucera, followed by Duncan Crew’s Tomás Bubák and YoyoFactory’s Vashek Kroutil. On the local division, the winner was One Drop’s Vilmos Zoltán Kiss, 2nd place was Yoyojam’s Bálint Farkas and 3rd place went to Ákos Lizenbold.
Also worth noting on the European front is Plamek’s recent move to team One Drop, after Hspin’s team’s demise.
The Russian National Yo-yo Contest is also just around the corner, and YoyoFactory’s Victor Gravitsky will try to defend his title against an ever-growing competition. World Champion Marcus Koh will also attend Russian Nationals as a guest!
Next week, Italian players will also compete in their National Contest, with guests Augie Fash and Vashek Kroutil.
