Anthony Rojas has joined CLYW! It’s a perfect pick-up..congratulations to Anthony and CLYW! Check out the official statement below from CLYW, and a new video from Anthony to celebrate the news.
Anthony Rojas is art in motion. Watching him throw return tops is like watching a thousand divergent thoughts suddenly coalesce into a single, insistent concept that changes shape depending how the light hits it. And we aren’t exaggerating at all, which is kinda crazy.
Anthony has long been considered one of the most uniquely creative yoyo players in the world, and we’ve been fans since he first started making noise on the contest scene back in 2009. He’s humble, intelligent, amazing with a return top, a great artist and graphic designer, and truly fun and inspiring to be around.
We like this guy a lot, and it’s an honor for us to be able to support such a rare and incredible talent.
Welcome to the CLYW family, Anthony!
About time for a real team to pick him up.
I was pretty certain there was something wrong with Anthony based on how long his prior affiliation lasted.
Actually, he had plenty of offers on the table. He just wanted to take some time to focus on finishing school and getting a job, and then decide how he wanted to move forward with yoyoing.
You have to remember that for a lot of these sponsored players, which yoyos are a huge part of their life…it’s not the *only* thing in their life.
