ILoveYoYo (ILYY) has been pretty quiet lately, but just when you stop paying attention BOOM! Two new bi-metal yoyos. Just like that, no warning, just “Hey, have two new bi-metal yoyos and we only make 10 of each.”
Awesome.
Check out pics and specs below. Since there are only 10 of each, these will only be available by emailing ILYY directly.

Former World Champion Jensen Kimmitt just dropped a really damn good fixed axle video, with one of his own handmade yoyos. Interesting tricks done well with style to spare…hard to get much better than that, right?

Fellow yoyo player Christopher Chunn is a good dude, with a good family, and they could use our help right now.
A few weeks ago they got into a brutal car accident and completely totaled the family car. No one was seriously hurt, which is amazing, but their car is annihilated. Since Michigan is a “no fault” state, they’re pretty well screwed. And being a one-car family means they are now a no-car family.
I’ve got a family of five and we only have one car…in their same position my own family would be utterly screwed. I’m grateful they are all safe and sound, and my heart goes out to them during this massive setback.
There is a GoFundMe page up to help them raise funds for a new car. Their goal is only $5,000, so they aren’t even looking for a “new” car, just a decent used vehicle that will get them where they need to go. They aren’t asking for much, just what they need, and right now they need our help.
Please donate whatever you can, and just as importantly please share this around as much as you can. Thanks for your support…let’s take care of our own!

I’ve never heard of YOYOZHIRIZ, a new yoyo brand from Indonesia. The yoyo featured in this video, the Gryphon, is their first release. I’ve never heard of Winalda, the player featured in this video. But I love his slow, loping style and he’s got some really nice looking tricks. Good stuff!

When Shion Araya wanted a new signature model, C3yoyodesign got to work. They talked to him about what he wanted and then created three different designs that all accomplished those goals in different ways. Through their Facebook page we got to see them walking through the prototyping process with these different iterations, and working through the process of Shion testing and deciding what worked best for him. Now we have the final product, releasing this weekend at the Hamamatsu YoYo Contest in Japan, and worldwide on May 2nd.
I’m forever amazed that C3yoyodesign isn’t a much larger company. I’m genuinely surprised when I walk around at a contest and I don’t see half the players throwing C3 yoyos. They are great people, who love what they do, and they make a wide range of genuinely fantastic products. They are deeply and intimately involved in every single step of the production process, and they are all passionate yoyo players who truly, madly love what they do.
This video is a great look at what it means to love what you do.

One Drop YoYos announced a new member of their team of sponsored players, Drew Mrowiec-Barnhart! Drew is a fantastic rising player and a great pick-up for any company. Congrats Drew and One Drop! Check out One Drop’s statement below, and hit their site to see Drew’s bio.
There are many factors that go into choosing players for our team. The most important thing is that we have good people – and by good we mean good hearts and souls. People that will cherish those moments with you at a contest. People that will go out of their way to help you learn a trick. People who are just human and full of life.
Our latest addition, Drew, is the embodiment of this ideal. His passion for yo-yoing and living reaches far beyond the stratosphere. We are blessed to have the opportunity to stand by his side as he continues his yo-yoing journey.
Welcome aboard Drew!

Anthony Rojas has joined CLYW! It’s a perfect pick-up..congratulations to Anthony and CLYW! Check out the official statement below from CLYW, and a new video from Anthony to celebrate the news.
Anthony Rojas is art in motion. Watching him throw return tops is like watching a thousand divergent thoughts suddenly coalesce into a single, insistent concept that changes shape depending how the light hits it. And we aren’t exaggerating at all, which is kinda crazy.
Anthony has long been considered one of the most uniquely creative yoyo players in the world, and we’ve been fans since he first started making noise on the contest scene back in 2009. He’s humble, intelligent, amazing with a return top, a great artist and graphic designer, and truly fun and inspiring to be around.
We like this guy a lot, and it’s an honor for us to be able to support such a rare and incredible talent.
Welcome to the CLYW family, Anthony!
