There are quite a few strings from boutique manufacturers that sell for more per string than that, and they sell out regularly. To each his own, but I think “absurd” is a bit of an overstatement for quality product.
its less then .50 cents per string. right in line with all other companies, better pricing in fact then most hand made string. I love the stuff. It lasts at least 5 times longer then reg string. I won’t use anything else. This isn’t some factory made string that lasts an hour. give it a shot you might love it also 🙂
$50 for 100 strings? Not ever. Not ever once in a billion years.
