Riccardo Fraolini, one of the most talented and underrated players in Europe, has announced his departure from French company XCube. The company only recently released Riccardo’s signature yoyo, The Seed, after more than a year of teasing and prototyping.
Riccardo is one of the most uniquely talented players in Europe, and he’s quickly become a “player’s favorite” with his incredibly unique and compelling tricks. No word on if he’s being courted by another sponsor, but he can throw whatever he wants as long as he keeps those tricks coming! I have to admit, this is one of the few times that the correlation of player to signature yoyo made an impact… in other words, just as Guy Wright and the Punch Line, Riccardo’s yoyoing is what made me interested in the Seed. I may have let the Seed go unnoticed otherwise.
Agreed. I almost bought one at EYYC solely to own his signature model.
rough for x3, but honestly riccardo’s tricks are so good that i’m usually too stunned to notice (or care) what he’s throwing anyway. his creativity is almost counterproductive from a sponsorship standpoint. 😉
