Harrison Lee – PNWR Recap
You can always count on 2013 Canadian National Champion Harrison Lee for a great recap video! Here is Harrison’s look at the 2014 Pacific Northwest Regional event, recently held in Seattle, WA. PNWR is the first NYYL Regional event of 2014, and a great way to kick off the contest season. Click here for full results from the event.
This is the 10th year of PNWR, organized by National YoYo Master Nathan Crissey. Next year he’ll be handing the contest over to TMBR’s Colin Leland and it’s moving up to Portland. Nathan had an absolutely amazing run building this event up into something truly first class…congratulations on an amazing run, Nathan!
Daiki Tanaka — FIST SALUD 2014
When I went to 44CLASH in 2011, Kohta gave us stickers that read “WHO’S GOING TO BE A NEXT GENERATION?” Upon receiving & reading his sticker, Hank pointed to Daiki practicing tricks in the corner and said “That guy. He’s the next generation.” Two contest seasons later, and he is definitely living up to this promise. Dee’s recent clip featuring Daiki for Fist Salud shows you why he’s the future: clever transitions, sophisticated combo construction, and of course his signature cross-armed horizontal circular eli hop banger—what’s not to love?
sOMEThING – Forever Loved + Lose Control
Hiroyuki Suzuki’s “sOMEThING” brand dropped a new video giving us a glimpse of owner and 4-time World Champion Hiroyuki Suzuki performing with some of their team in Seoul, South Korea.
Featuring Hiroyuki Suzuki (Japan) , Cha Dam Dae (Korea) , and Lee Min Woo (Korea).
Yoyos used are the ANGLAM, SUPERFLY Remix, and JetSet EC.
Fist Salud Presents: Hajime Miura 2014
Japanese Fist Salud member Hajime Miura gives us a glimpse at the next generation of 3A champions in this new video. His play is just so flawlessly smooth and natural, it’s hard to imagine a time when 3A was a single trick stop-and-start affair. Crazy, right?
Jeon Ji Hwan x Shift Change
This one almost slipped by us with all the hubbub from EYYC, but South Korean offstring player Jeon Ji Hwan dropped a nice, low-fi offstring video using the Shift Change by Japan Technology. There’s some really clean offstring play in here…enjoy!
