National YoYo Champion Miguel Correa continues his 5A Tutorial series with four more tricks guaranteed to keep you busy for a while. Be sure to check out the rest of his counterweight yoyoing tutorials at DefinitiveYoyoing.com.
Jojobolt.hu dropped a pretty good video featuring Martin Csiszar and the YoYoFactory ONEStar.
Martin seems like a fairly new player, judging by the stiffness in his shoulders when he plays and some oddness in his Trapeze throws, but he’s definitely got some promise. Fun video by an up-and-comer!
This is what happens when you try to guess about a player from watching one video. Martin is not only NOT a new player, he’s a past winner of the Open Division at Czech Nationals and is something of an “old school” master from Hungary.
My apologies to Martin! Also, we clearly REALLY need a European correspondent to help us out…anyone want to step up?

It’s that time again! Here we go with another batch of miscellaneous radness from old people and young people!
Jacob Jensen pops in for a guest spot with one of his first original tricks.
Spencer Berry brings things to their logical conclusion…and then keeps going.
I throw like an old man with a mechanical repeater.
Jacob comes back for another round with a solid counterweight repeater.
Another repeater that I’ve been enjoying lately.
I channel the great Ed Haponik with this kendama-ish kinda stall.
And Rafael pulls some counterweight from the vaults with this rad combo.
See you next week!
Nick Gumlaw gives us what might well be the first full video of bar yoyoing to pimp his company, Spin Dynamics. Some nice tricks in here, plus it’s always just fun to watch a yoyo player enjoying themselves. Nice work, Nick!
YoYoNews favorite Michael Ferdico straps on the neon sunglasses and gets his sOMEThiNG on with the Anglam ver. CC in this new video. Not sure if it’s *supposed* to be funny (which it is), but clearly Hiroyuki Suzuki and Christopher Chia are getting some love here.
Here’s something cool we found…a recently started YouTube channel dedicated entirely to street performers who perform at traffic lights in Brazil.
Yep. That’s a thing.
Red lights last nearly a minute so performers will build routines specifically to last for the duration of the light, run out into the intersection, do a mini show, and then get out of the way before traffic starts moving. It’s the ultimate in single-serving entertainment.
