Nehemiah Peterson’s “Tech Creators” project just released its second video featuring Harrison Lee, Colin Beckford, Paul Dang, Keiran Cooper, and plenty more. Good stuff? Good stuff.
I know it’s only 40 seconds, but it’s such a good 40 seconds!

I’ve been a fan of Ethan Wong for a few years now. I’m also old and pretty jaded about yoyo tricks since I’ve been watching them for over 20 years. And still, Ethan manages to impress me every. single. time. I see him throw. It’s amazing, and I cannot sing this guy’s praises loudly enough. From his incredible routine at EYYC 2013 that basically set the stage for horizontal play in yoyo contests to this fantastic new yoyo and collaboration with Kohta Watanabe, Ethan seems to be aiming for legend status and he’s definitely on his way. Enjoy.

Ernest Kahn really knows his way around a repeater. Not since the glory days of Guy Wright (we miss you, Guy) have we so many consistently fun and enjoyable repeaters from a single player. Fantastic!

Opting out of competing at this year’s PNWR yielded arguably the most fun I’ve had at a yo-yo competition
and after watching this video, we agree. Looks like PNWR was an absolute blast, and huge thanks to Keiran for putting together such a beautiful love letter to this contest.
Ernest Kahn knows how to make yoyoing look fun, doesn’t he? Check out his latest repeater tutorial, produced by CLYW.

OMG BEN CONDE WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN WE MISSED YOU BUDDY! Ben Conde finally pops up again with a new video (and it’s been so long we nearly missed it, totally our fault), and we get the double bonus of him hanging out with World YoYo Champion Gentry Stein and European Offstring Champion Quentin Godet, and we get a sneak peek at his new yoyo from YoYoFactory. Ok, so that was worth the wait, I guess.
One of the best parts of heading to a contest are the house parties that spring up around them, and the videos we sometimes get from them. PNWR gave us a pile of serious talent crashing at Will Prater’s house, including Tessa Piccillo, Nehemiah Peterson, Alann “Hotpocket” Herrera, and AJ Garcia.
Daniel “Zammy” Ickler dropped a new video of möbius tricks. As you’d expect from Zammy the music is good, the tricks are burly, and the lighting is…well, the tricks are great. Looks like Zammy is freshly inspired by his new collaboration yoyo.

Duncan player Yoshihiro Abe gives us that rare gem…a new 5A video! Check out some really polished 5A play from one of the best in the scene.

James Gilroy just dropped one of the best trick dump videos I’ve seen in a while. Plenty of new tricks built off a similar concept…both a great example of how his creative process works, and for the eagle-eyed rookies out there this is an amazing learning tool for how to create and evolve your own tricks. Highest of fives, James.
