Oh the feel good vibes of playing Kendama, listening to good tunes, and enjoying life. It feels great to release some new footage after months of running multiple events, traveling around the entire world and promoting/pushing Kendama to the limits.
‘Tj Kolesnik Kendama Adventures’ takes you inside a fun filled, uplifting ride through the eyes of Tj Kolesnik and his Kendama play. The new generation of Kendama play has been up’d by many levels with new and exciting tricks, combos and flavor. Seeing all of these aspects with the growing scene in San Diego and around the nation, I had to step up my game and adjust to how the tables are turning. The tricks in this edit feature consistency and trick originality with a combination of old school and new school Kendama play. I tried to push the limits with incorporating a little bit of both, showing you in POV format how I play.
Lifestyle, travel and having fun are the key essentials to enjoying the life I live. Risk taking and making new memories comes along the way. I incorporate Kendama in my everyday life to show you the fun and fulfillment I have to wake up everyday and continue to progress.
Sit back, relax and enjoy some fun Kendama play in San Diego, California and Kona, Hawaii. I encourage all Kendama players around the world to travel to new places, continue to inspire, create new memories and explore to greater heights.

Japan this year was a unique experience. We were deeper into the country than we had ever been before. The entire team was together for the very first time. With obligations like the Kendama World Cup, it wasn’t easy to find time to just play and lace some tricks. We worked in some stompage for the sake of having memories of this classic era of the team. We are stoked to see it evolve.
Featuring Keith Matsumura, Haley Bishoff, Jake Wiens, Matt Ballard, Dave Mateo, Zack Yourd, Colin Sander, Alex Smith, TJ Kolesnik, and Turner Thorne.

What happens when Dave Mateo, Jake Wiens, Haley Bishoff, and TJ Kolesnik head to Hawaii in the middle of a full-blown kendama craze?
Good stuff. That’s what happens. Watch as the Kendama USA pros tear up one side of the island and down the other, and then officiate a kendama competition with 1800 competitors and 5000 spectators.

Congratulations to Haley Bishoff for scoring a spot on the Kendama USA Tribute Team! We got to meet Haley at US Nationals this year and she’s a hell of a kendama player and a fantastic person. She’ll be a great fit for this all-star team of kendama players…congrats to Haley and Kendama USA.
For 2014 we wanted to continue growing the Tribute family. Instead of doing a video contest this year, we decided to keep our eyes open for the right person during our travels and events. The Tribute team is one of the most diverse Kendama crews in the world. Each member has their own unique style and personality. The Tribute team travels together, plays together, and evolves together constantly. When it comes to choosing another team member, we look at not only the Kendama play, and but also the type of person you are.
We are very excited and honored to introduce the newest member of the team and family, Haley Bishoff.
Haley has an extensive skill set that that rivals even the most seasoned ninjas. Not only does she slay Kendama, she also is skilled in gymnastics, slackline, yoyo, and epic ba$ketballer videos. She is one of the most chill people to hang with or jam dama and is always down to learn new tricks and teach others. After meeting her a few times on tour and at yoyo events, the whole Kendama USA crew knew it was a perfect match. Haley is Trib.
It was also an unwritten requirement that you be able to do back flips. Haley passed that test with an A+. Welcome to the family Haley!

It’s amazing how much one place can influence a person. All of us here at Kendama USA are influenced by the birthplace of kendama… Japan. A portion of our team was honored to be invited to visit the birthplace of kendama for sessions, meetings, product-releases, and plotting the future course of our sport.
It was destined to be an amazing time, and who better than Colin Sander to showcase it to you. Let’s be real… we were there because Kazuma Iwata, the maker of MUGEN, was coming back.
Enjoy next-level tricks, a star-studded juggler list, and all of the unpredictable beauty that the far east bestows upon us with each visit. This is Kendama USA’s Gloken Musou Tour edit. Japan 2013.This trip and all the events around it would not have been possible without an endless list of helpers, performers, shops, hosts, and so on. Watch the video, and you’ll catch them all in there.
