A quick look at the Duncan Toys 2013 Wholesale Catalog shows a new product that is definitely geared more towards yoyo players than the mass market…plastic and aluminum weight rings. The rings are designed to snap-fit into any yoyo that uses FH Zero caps…such as the Hayabusa, Hornet, Raptor, Flipside and more! Available in Spring 2013, these are expected to retail for around $5 per set for the plastic weights and $10 per set for the aluminum weights. The exact weight of the rings is not settled yet, as Duncan is still finalizing prototypes.
Duncan Toys at 2013 International Toy Fair in New York (Booth 1340)
Duncan Toys is busy getting set up at the 2013 International Toy Fair in New York (Booth #1340), and we were able to get some pics from their booth!
Not a lot of new products this year, but they are showing a new soft-sided canvas yoyo case and the new STRIX, a signature model for Kohta Watanabe! We originally covered the teaser that Brandon dropped, but now we have a first look at the packaged prototype. Retail still isn’t finalized, but it will be under $60. They’re also showing the Yo-tility Holster and new looping yoyo the Hornet, both of which will be available this spring.

First Look: Duncan Hornet
We seem to be getting a first look at lots of yoyos lately! Duncan just dropped pics of this guy on their Instagram account, but didn’t give us much info. Sorta looks like a BumbleBee with Freehand caps.
