Two-time US National YoYo Champion Evan Nagao was featured in a great video profile by Newsweek! Evan is an incredible yoyo player and seriously one of the nicest dudes in the community…it’s great to see him front and center to represent us to the world.
Evan Nagao stopped in to the YoYoFactory office for a visit, and it looks like he had a good time. Throwing some tricks, trying out all the yoyos, meeting some local players, and he even had time to show off his impersonations of Gentry Stein and Zach Gormley. Dude is a one-man Basecamp, lol.

Jeffrey Pang brings us a ground level view of the 2017 Pacific Northwest Regional YoYo Contest, held recently in Seattle, WA. Featuring all the good stuff from Evan Nagao, David Ung, Colin Beckford, Harrison Lee, The Bird, Keiran Cooper, and plenty more.
Check out this insanely long (and dense) trick compilation video, assembled by Nehemiah Peterson. Filmed mostly at Worlds (but with some submitted player footage mixed in), this video highlights modern “technical” yoyo play. Featuring…well, featuring a crapload of people. Who do you want to see? They’re in here. Zach Gormley, Anthony Rojas, Evan Nagao, Andrew Maider, Ahmad Kharisma, Harold Owens III….it’s a crazy pile of talent.
Sometimes you seek out a place to throw some tricks, and other times the place you end up just demands it. If you end up in Dookie’s backyard, you’re gonna be throwing some tricks.
Featuring Paolo Bueno, Evan Nagao, Michael Kurti, and David “Dookie” Albert.
Evan Nagao has been playing yoyo nearly as long as he’s been alive (seriously, he started when he was two years old) and his 2014 US Nationals routine had everyone in the theater jumping out of their seats and screaming for more. Evan just dropped a new video and it’s well worth checking out if you want a sneak peek as the beginnings of his next mind blowing freestyle.
