TYC (Tuchoměřická Yoyo Contest) is a yoyo contest held just outside of Prague, and YoYoNews has video of the 2015 winners in all divisions!
The weather here in Cleveland still sucks, but it looks like things are warming up in Prague. Let’s welcome spring with new yoyo tricks from Pepa Trojan, Kuba Velek, Ondra „Debakl“ Schmid, Ferry Procházka, Honza Paprštein, Ondra Horák & Libor Bulíček.
I absolutely LOVE seeing things like this! Projects like this are the best bet we have for really spreading the art and sport of yoyo play, and I’m really impressed at how the Czech yoyo scene has come together to make this happen.
Spinking is very special yoyo project with simple goal. We want kids and teenagers to go out, play, socialize, create stuff and evolve. Our way how to reach this goal and get kids out of computers, out of doing nothing or doing bad things is modern yo-yoing. So we took team of international professional yoyo players and toured schools all around Czech Republic with yoyo show. We have been to over 100 schools and did more than 250 shows. We have also organized Spinking contest at the very end of our tour. What happened? How did the whole thing go? Who won? Check the video to find out 🙂
Big thanks to sponsors!!

And thanks to SPINKING team:
CLYW team member David Kreibich is making some noise this year! Last month he tied for First Place at the Prague YoYo Battle with Matous Tomes, and now we’ve got a crazy fun new video from him! David is blowing through some really burly tricks here, and the stop-motion intro and outro are pretty awesome. Great work, David!
Yoyo used is the Bear vs Man 2 by CLYW.
The Czech Republic has a lot of great food, great beer, and great yoyo contests. Check out the winners of the recent Rakovnicky YoYo Contest!

We’ve got another blast of goodness from the Czech Republic, with this video from Ondrej Dolejs of Barely Legal. Good filming, good tricks, good time to be a yoyo player!
Our friends at YoYoStore sent us this new video from Czech Duncan Crew player Jan Paprstein, and it’s solid! Jan has some great tricks in here, and the first-person angle for the whole thing makes it really easy to
steal learn them. 😉 Nice work, Jan!
Yoyo used is the Torque by Duncan Toys.
Our friends at Slusny know how to throw a yoyo party, and the latest in their “Just Friday” video series makes me want to get back on a plane to Prague! Partly because hey, yoyo party! And partly because of the svickova.
Czech players Jan Paprstein & Adam Hribal show some love for the new Duncan Triumph, the new signature yoyo for 3x World and National Champion Hank Freeman.
Slusny produced a great video from footage at the 2014 Czech National YoYo Contest. Great venue, huge turnout, and a tremendous amount of talent makes Czech Nationals one of the largest and most successful National championships in the world…if you haven’t been, start making plans for next year!
The results are in from the 2014 Czech National YoYo Contest…and it’s no surprise to anyone that one of the best yoyo scenes in the world produced another batch of absolutely amazing freestyles from some of the most talented players in Europe. Check out video of all the winners below!
