Prague has one of the biggest and most talented yoyo scenes in the world, so it’s no surprise they should turn out such an incredibly gifted young player like David Stejskal. This latest video from him is pure joy, and after you watch it a dozen times you should leave a comment below so David knows how damn impressed we all are.
Yoyo used is the CLYW Scout.
Looks like the Slusny gang had a great time at the Just Life Festival…throwing tricks, launching themselves into a lake, and practicing yoga? Sure, why not. Looks awesome!
The Czech yoyo scene is fantastic, and we’ll never get tired of telling you about it. Check out the yearly “Just Tuesday” video from Slusny!
30th of June means end of school and beginning of summer holiday. There is tradition at SLUSNY that yoyo players celebrate this together, they gather together and film yoyo tricks. This time we had players from all over the country and SLUSNY yoyo shop was opened until 10pm. Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks for making the Czech yoyo scene so friendly and awesome 🙂
Check out some more love from the Czech yoyo scene! This year’s Czech YoYo Camp is happening soon, but Slusny has been so busy they forgot to release video from last year! So here is a look at last year’s event.
CLYW player Petr Kavka hopped behind the camera for the VYZ contest in the Czech Republic, and gave us a great look at another fun event in the yoyo player capital of Europe.
Slusny and CLYW offered a special pre-release of the Scout, the new signature yoyo for Petr Kavka, at the recent North YoYo Contest in the Czech Republic. Check out some great tricks from Petr Kavka, Matyas Racek, Jake Mulvey, David Stejskal, Renda Knap, Jan Votrubec, Seva Golovin, Tomas Cipra, and David Kreibich.
Yoyo used is the Scout by CLYW.
Turning Point team member Josefina Nesporova has a new video, courtesy of YoYo Store in Prague. Nice work from one of the few sponsored girl players in the scene, and definitely one of the most active.
Yoyo used is the Auldey x Turning Point Positron.
Czech television station Česká Televize has posted a 25-minute documentary about the 2014 World YoYo Contest and the Czech yoyo scene that put it together. A fair chunk of the documentary is, predictably, in the Czech language but it’s a great watch and you can still get a pretty clear idea of what’s going on. Because hey, yoyoing is an international language, right?

The weather here in Cleveland still sucks, but it looks like things are warming up in Prague. Let’s welcome spring with new yoyo tricks from Pepa Trojan, Kuba Velek, Ondra „Debakl“ Schmid, Ferry Procházka, Honza Paprštein, Ondra Horák & Libor Bulíček.
I absolutely LOVE seeing things like this! Projects like this are the best bet we have for really spreading the art and sport of yoyo play, and I’m really impressed at how the Czech yoyo scene has come together to make this happen.
Spinking is very special yoyo project with simple goal. We want kids and teenagers to go out, play, socialize, create stuff and evolve. Our way how to reach this goal and get kids out of computers, out of doing nothing or doing bad things is modern yo-yoing. So we took team of international professional yoyo players and toured schools all around Czech Republic with yoyo show. We have been to over 100 schools and did more than 250 shows. We have also organized Spinking contest at the very end of our tour. What happened? How did the whole thing go? Who won? Check the video to find out 🙂
Big thanks to sponsors!!
