Everything about this video is just too damn good. Seriously.
Harrison Lee, the shortest member of CLYW, does it again with this solid video. We’re all currently wondering what he’s going to get first: driver’s license or World YoYo Title. Fantastic control and composition…did CLYW find this kid or assemble him from the parts of other yoyo players?
We all saw and marveled over the amazing video that CLYW released to tease this collaboration, now we finally have pics of the actual yoyos.
CLYW has dropped pics of their collaboration with Canadian clothing brand, Raised By Wolves. This limited edition Canvas will only be available at raisedbywolves.ca…no release date or price announced yet, but we’ll update this post when we have more info.
New video from the arctic wilderness of Norway! WE LOVE YOU, PEKKA!
First video of 2013 from Poland’s Backspin. I have no idea why that one dude keeps punching the air, but I think he’s having a really good time. Also, the video is titled “Backspin Office” but it’s in a bedroom. So I’m not sure what kind of business they’re in, but I think it involves a lot of napping. Featuring Grzegorz ‘Plamek’ Wójcik, and Piotrek Śmietana.
New video from Adam Brewster, who is one of those people who has always been known as a “player’s player”. Along with players like Justin Weber, Jon Gates, and Sid, Adam is a pioneer of trick composition and his play just oozes with a completely unique style.
Fedor Karpenko gives us a great single shot / single throw video featuring the CLYW Cliff.
Drew Tetz put it best when he said “How am I supposed to get any work done today?” Seems the new year has brought a mad rush of new video material from a ton of players, and here’s Michael Kurti dogpiling on to keep you just another 1:34 away from being productive. Nice Cure shirt, Michael!
To celebrate the upcoming collaborative project with Raised by Wolves, we at CLYW decided to send out Jensen Kimmitt and Charles Haycock into the freezing December winter in Edmonton to make a video. We wanted a raw feel with a realistic but impressive perspective on what return tops are all about to go along with the pieces we worked on with the folks at Raised by Wolves.
It took three days and over fifty takes to achieve this single shot. Due to the average temperature of -25C, the shooting had to be split up so that we could run back to the truck to avoid frostbite and the tricks used in the freestyle were adapted over the three days of shooting in order to be hit clean under freezing and windy conditions.
We are very proud on how well this project turned out and hope everyone enjoys the products of our hard work.
“Sintanizer” has only been throwing for three years, and has been bringing a truckload of freshness to 1A. He is also CLYW’s first Japanese team member, and we can’t think of a better way to set foot on the sacred land of competitive yoyoing!
New video from Ayumu Harada showing off his CLYW Arctic Circle…worth the watch!
Members of the CLYW team hanging out at the 2012 World YoYo Contest in Orlando…so good!
One of the stars of the CLYW team, Palli is an absolute joy to watch. Here’s some video from his recent trip to Japan for 44 Clash.
