Charles Haycock is back with a new video of absolutely beautiful yoyo tricks, but you’ve gotta earn them. The first five minutes of the video is excruciating for all of us with social anxiety who have ever been throwing in public and had to deal with super enthusiastic and ill-informed pedestrians. No one orchestrates cringe like Charles, but this one hits a little too close to home.
Yoyo used is the Quail.

It’s rare that someone drops a 10 minute yoyo video, and even rarer still that it actually needed to be 10 minutes long. This video could have been twice as long.
Featuring, like, everyone.

Tyler Vienneau takes the lead in this new video from A-RT, the yoyo company started by Jensen Kimmitt and Charles Haycock. You can see the influence of Jensen and Charles’ yoyo play here, but with Tyler’s own style peeking through. We got a nice glimpse of Tyler’s play in the recent Diptych promo video, but it’s nice to see him hold down a full-length video on his own.

Jensen Kimmitt and Charles Haycock are each accomplished yoyo players and trick creators, and now we can add manufacturers to the list! They have decided to venture in to making their own yoyos and are dropping a bundle box to jumpstart some funds for their new business. The bundle includes two wooden yoyos, Peon and Orphan, and their first metal yoyo, Jr. The bundle box is $200 USD and can be purchased Friday, 4th at noon MST at their website.
My bud Jensen and I have been pouring our sunshine energy into these projects for a very long time and they are finally about to see the light. The Junior is a nimble little design that I’ve been itching to play with for years and after realizing the prototype in the last six months it has moulded my style into something that I can’t be shy about feeling stoked on. The Peon is Jensen’s precious oversized baby and the cumulative result of over 6 years of R&D. It plays like family love and feels warm in your hand. Get your pockets ready if you want to help support us in fundraising our company with this release -Charles

Charles Haycock traveled out to the 2014 Bay Area Classic with the intention of hanging out with some friends and filming a little for a video. What happened was much, much more than that, and he ended up with a 20-minute concept video that includes Jensen Kimmitt, Ernest Kahn, Elliot Jackson, Aaron Bendich, Daniel Flaherty, Matthew Fernandez, and Kieran Cooper.
Ernest Kahn and Matt Fernandez steal the show with two of the best yoyo video parts I’ve ever seen, like, EVER. Make yourself a sandwich, grab a beverage, and get settled in for Bay Area Comrades.
