East Music Works has some new 3D printed yoyos that will be available at the upcoming Hamamatsu YoYo Contest on September 27th & 28th in Shizuoka-ken, Japan.
The loopers shown above will retail for ¥2000 (about $18 each), and the Freehand Zero caps shown below will retail for ¥800 (about $7 per set of 2 caps). Hell yeah, more 3D printed yoyos!
Canadian-based Fluid Print Dynamics has another 3D printed yoyo coming soon, the Acadius! I managed to miss out on their previous offerings, but have heard some really positive feedback from people about the print quality and play value.
The Acadius drops on their website on September 1st in VERY limited quantities. Check out full specs and the promo video below!
Remember that 3D printed yoyo that made the rounds at Japan Nationals? Designed by East, it played really well and got a great reaction at the event. Well, East is back and now he’s designed and printed a pair of loopers! Check them out in action above, demonstrated by 2012 Asia-Pacific 2A Champion Shunsuke Kawakami.

Our friends at YoYoNews.jp posted pics of this absolutely fantastic 3D printed yoyo with custom stainless steel rims. It looks amazing! It’s hard to get details from the Google translation of the Japanese product page, but they seem to be saying that this prototype will be floating around at the East Japan B-Block competition.
