Just got a pair of great videos from Russian YoYoFactory Junior Team members Gennadiy Malinin and Nikita Apon. Huge thanks to Sergey Solovyev who shot both of these, as well as the Innovation Movement x Vladimir Glazkov video we just posted.
These videos show some really great tricks from both of these players, and we’re looking forward to seeing more from them in the future as their style solidifies. It’s incredibly exciting to see how much quality yoyo play is coming from these young players. My only question is when are going to start seeing them competing more prevalently outside of Russia?

G-Squared is releasing their newest model, the G-Squared Triton, at select retailers on April 12th.
For this release they wanted a full-sized yoyo that played fast and stable with a comfortable, organic shape. Jacob Gross, the owner of G-Squared, personally likes incorporating grinds into his tricks, so he added the grooves in the catch zone to allow for better grind time than a bead blast finish. The wide catch zone and wide open cup are intended to make it easier to hit horizontal tricks and finger spins, and the G-Squared Triton has the G2 Stability Ring for holding spin on those long combos.

C3YoYoDesign’s Dávid Molnár is one of the best and most consistent players in Europe…at any given moment you can count on whatever he’s doing to be pretty cool. In this new video he’s showing off the C3YoYoDesign Glitter, and making it look pretty damn good. The horizontal combo starting at 1:31 is one of the smoothest and prettiest I’ve seen lately, and that slack combo at the end of the video is beautifully done. Great work, Dávid!

What better way to start of the YoYoFactory Rocky Mountain Tour then, in the Rockies! As part of the tour, we set up at the USASA Snowboard National Contest in Copper, CO. From the minute we set up, people were hanging out playing Yo-Yo. Quite a few people already had skills and were throwing modern unresponsive YoYoFactory.
Expect to see plenty more updates as they wind their way through Denver, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins.
