A new company has broken out on to the scene and it’s name is Axis YoYos. After their successful first release, the Pulsefire, they have already started on their next big hit: a low budget metal yoyo. Just in time for the holiday season the Mixtape Vol 1 will be dropping this December for the low price of $39!

Turn out the lights on your way out, folks, it’s truly the end of an era: Hank Freeman, 3x World and National champion, the first member of Duncan Crew, has officially left the team.
Hank’s involvement with Duncan Toys pre-dates even the existence of the Duncan Crew of sponsored players, going back to when he was in the hilariously terrible “Whip It” commercial for the Duncan Transaxtion in 1999.
But really, this is good news…this frees up a spot on the Duncan Crew for some rising talent, and the main reason he is leaving is to focus on 44RPM, the company he launched last year with Drew Tetz. And, wouldn’t ya know it, they have a new metal yoyo coming out soon! The Rhythm, designed by Hank and Drew, should be on shelves before Christmas and all advance reports say that it’s pretty fantastic. More details on that soon.
But for now, let’s pour one out for the last of the old guard as he moves on to bigger and better projects! Hell yeah, Hank!

Axis recently announced that Alann “Hotpocket” Herrera has joined Axis YoYos as their resident official photographer. He has done some amazing work and it will be exciting to see the great work he does in the future.
C3yoyodesign has been on a roll recently with picking up great talents like Sora Ishikawa and Reia Torita. Keeping on with their momentum, C3yoyodesign has announced their latest addition to their contest team, Xiao-Wen “Hobbit” Wang. Hobbit is the 2015 World YoYo Contest Women’s division champion and is a solid addition to C3yoyodesign’s contest team.
