One Drop YoYos, L to R: Project / Project 2 / Rebirth
Japan’s Ryosuke Kawamura is no stranger to any yoyo player who has ever checked out our site…one of the most prolific video makers out there, Ryosuke is constantly putting together clips to showcase all of the unsung talent in Japan.
Well, now we actually get to celebrate Ryosuke himself! His new signature model yoyo, the Rebirth, will be releasing sometime soon from One Drop and Ryosuke has released four teaser videos to get us excited. The yoyo itself is based on the Project line, and appears to be a larger diameter evolution of the Project/Project 2. You can see from the photo that the Rebirth features a wider rim, like the original project, and the response area bump of the Markmont Classic. That combo alone makes me want one…the original Project is still my favorite One Drop release of all time, and the Markmont Classic is, IMO, the best yoyo they’ve ever released. Combining those two is pretty much the greatest thing ever!
