World Champion Shu Takada shows some love for the little guys in this new video from Fist Salud. Shu did a show and taught yoyo lessons at the 1-year anniversary party for Toasted, a small cafe in Japan. This video is a great look at what it means to be a yoyo demonstrator…down on one knee, shortening strings and making time for the little ones. Hell yes.

King Yo Star player Josh Yee shows off a few new tricks in this video, filmed around his home city of San Francisco.

We’ve got another blast of goodness from the Czech Republic, with this video from Ondrej Dolejs of Barely Legal. Good filming, good tricks, good time to be a yoyo player!
Duncan Crew’s Chris Makita is one of the most secretly amazing yoyo players in the world. He’s not a World Champion and he’s just as happy at a contest as he is staying home with his family, but holy crap are his tricks AMAZING. Great concepts for days in here…enjoy!
Yoyo used is the Duncan Toys Barracuda.
YoYoJam player Alexis JV has a new tutorial for his trick “Turnover Whip”. It’s a subtle trick that adds a really nice flourish to the end of a combo, and this tutorial series is really exhaustively documented. Get on it!
Yoyo used is the YoYoJam Phenom.
All the way from Thailand, yoyo player Wasakorn L. bring us a really nicely done 2A video…something we just don’t see much of these days! 2A is still one of the most visually exciting styles of play to watch, and it’s a shame that it’s dying out as a contest division. Watching this video makes me want to take another crack at it, though, so I’m going to strap on some Loop 1080s and go spend the morning hitting myself in the face.
