Here’s a crazy two-part clip video from the recent Amateur Spring YoYo Contest in Moscow. It’s a lot to digest, so make sure you’ve got some time. Music lyrics are NSFW, so headphone it up!

Here’s some great 2A play from Masakazu Yamasaki, promoting the recent release of the Vortex looping yoyos by YoYo Joker. The tangler that he rolls down his back at 1:46…gotta be honest, that scares the crap out of me but it’s SO GOOD! It’s actually really similar to an old hoop juggling move from the vaudeville days.

Robbie Graham spent a little time filming at his grandmother’s house and turned out this video.
No joke, he shot it at his grandma’s house. Bet she watched him filming, said “That’s nice, dear”, and gave him a cookie. Grandmas are awesome like that. Hug your grandmas, kids.

National YoYo Champion Miguel Correa has posted the last 4 tutorials in his 5A Video Tutorials series at DefinitiveYoYoing.com, and they should keep you busy for a while.
On a personal note, a huge thanks to Miguel for always working so incredibly hard to promote counterweight yoyo play. There’s been a profound lack of any real promotion of the style in recent years, but Miguel has always gone the extra mile to make these teaching tools available for new players who want to learn. Thanks, Miggy! And if you like these tutorials, you should probably buy any yoyo that has Miguel’s name on it. No idea what yoyo that would be, but if you happen to run across one, it’s probably pretty good.
