Vladimir Glazkov rocks out a Dreadnought with IrPads and Kitty String in his newest video. Some really nice stuff here, very technically dense tricks. Not really my style to play, but definitely interesting to watch.

Jeon Ji Hwan, from the South Korean C3YoYoDesign team, just won the 4A division at the 2013 Korean National YoYo Championships…and right before the contest, C3YoYoDesign dropped this year-old video of him from their archives.
And today we got a brand new video from Jeon! It’s great to be able to see his progression as a player both in tricks and style.
Watching this video is like hunting for a sasquatch. You know he’s out there, you catch little glimpses that are amazing, but you never feel like you’ve really seen whatever it is you think you’ve seen.
The low-light idea is interesting, but mostly we just want to see more tricks from Ibrahim Itani, an incredibly smooth and creative yoyo player.
Don’t make us wait so long for the next video, Ibrahim, and shoot the next one during the day, please!
Czech yoyo shop Slusny dropped four new tutorial videos over the weekend…well worth checking out! High quality video and great trick breakdowns are a trademark for Slusny, and they’ve easily got some of the best tutorials in the industry.
However, our love for Slusny is not going to stop us from using this image of Petr Kavka as the Featured Image for this post. It popped up randomly and it’s hilarious. Sorry, Petr…but not really.
Ha ha ha ha ha…..it’s SO GOOD, right? Petr looks like he needs a strong cup of coffee or a few more hours of sleep. C’mon Petr, GET IT TOGETHER, MAN.
Anyway, here are the videos…enjoy!
YoYoFactory Russia Junior Team member Nikita Apon gets some love from Innovation Movement with his latest video. With the World YoYo Contest moving to Prague next year I think we’re going to see a huge contingent of Russian players…and I fully expect all hell to break loose once this new talent pool gets their chance to go for top honors. Amazing work from Nikita, as we’ve come to expect. But here’s my question…what does it take to move up to the full team in Russia?
Jonathan Robinson (a.k.a. JonRob) drops his first video in years and it was worth the wait. His counterweight play is undeniably the smoothest out there. Many players have tried to bite his style and no one has ever come close…JonRob really is the Greatest Of All Time.
Music is NSFW, so either watch it on mute or get yourself some headphones.
“BraveHearth” is another monster edit cut from 90 minutes worth of kendama footage from Donald Grant. There are some really fun and inspired tricks in here, and Donald nails the ridiculously difficult and the utterly silly with equal style and ease.
Also a heads up, be sure to check out the Scottish Kendama Championships on June 1st/2nd at Colinsburgh Town Hall.
