Hiroyuki Suzuki wins Japan Nationals!

It was a day for World Champions in Chiba, as they were crowned champions in all five divisions of the 2012 Japan National Yo-yo Contest!

Long-time favorite Hiroyuki Suzuki won the spectacular 1A division, followed by Akitoshi Tokubuchi and Kazuki Okada. In 2A, 2008 World Champion Takuma Yamamoto took the title, followed by two of the strongest names in the division, Shu Takada and Ryo Yamashita.

3A saw 2010 World Champion Minato Furuta beat Mizuki Takimoto and Ken Takabayashi to take the title. In 4A, another battle of giants, with World Champions Naoto Okada and Rei Iwakura taking the top spots, followed by the always amazing Kazuaki Sugimura.

Finally in 5A, Takuma Inoue, 2009 World Champion, took first place, ahead of Takayuki Kuriyama and Hideo Ishida.
